The heart of Chinese dining is deeply rooted in the concept of \*Tuan Yuan\* \(团圆\)—the coming together of loved ones to form a complete circle. At Hup Lok, there is nothing that brings us more joy than seeing our tables filled with people reconnecting over shared food and stories. Recently, we had the profound privilege of witnessing a truly extraordinary reunion. A wonderful group of friends gathered at our restaurant to celebrate a bond that has stood the test of time. They first met as classmates when they were just 12 years old. Today, at 77, they are celebrating an incredible 64 years of friendship\! Hearing the laughter, the shared memories, and seeing the genuine warmth radiating from their table was a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.
